Terms of Service

Prepr ("Prepr", "we", "us") is an online service provided by Simon Musmos, operating as Prepr, based in the Philippines, available at https://preprhq.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us about your use of Prepr, including the website, the web app, the interview copilot, the floating subtitles window and the Prepr Job Capture browser extension (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• An account is for one person. Don't share it, and don't create multiple accounts to get more free minutes. The free allowance is once per person.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us right away at simonmusmos@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

Prepr helps you prepare for job applications and interviews. Depending on your plan, it lets you:

• upload a resume and edit the profile we extract from it;
• compare your resume with a job description, get a match analysis and generate a tailored resume PDF;
• practise with role-specific flashcards and prepared answers;
• use the live interview copilot, which transcribes the interviewer's questions from audio you choose to share and suggests answers based on your resume and the role.

Prepr uses artificial intelligence provided by third parties (see our Privacy Policy). AI output can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and transcription can mishear words. Suggestions are a starting point, not advice, and they are not a substitute for your own judgement or for professional career, legal or financial advice.

The copilot is only for interviews and conversations you are a part of. When you use it:

• Consent to transcription. Laws in many places, including the Philippines (Republic Act No. 4200, the Anti-Wiretapping Act), restrict recording or intercepting private conversations without the consent of the people involved. You are solely responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you and the other participants, and for getting any consent they require before you share call or room audio with Prepr.
• Follow the rules of the interview. Some employers, recruiters and assessments don't allow outside help or AI tools. It is your responsibility to check and follow those rules. Don't use Prepr where its use is prohibited.
• Be truthful. Prepr is designed to help you express your own experience. You are responsible for everything you say and submit. Don't use suggestions to misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity.
• Screen sharing. If you share your screen during a call, other participants may see Prepr, including the floating subtitles window.

"Your content" means what you put into Prepr (resumes, profile details, job descriptions, answers to questions, audio you share) and what Prepr generates for you from it (analyses, tailored resumes, flashcards, suggested answers).

• You keep ownership of your content. We don't claim any rights to it beyond what we need to run the Service for you.
• You give us a limited permission to store, process, transmit and display your content, including sending it to our service providers, only to provide and secure the Service, and to support you when you ask.
• You confirm you have the right to upload your content, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. If your resume or a job description includes other people's personal information, you are responsible for having the right to share it.
• We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to train AI models.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or to capture conversations you're not part of;
• upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to get around usage limits, metering or payments, or use automated means to create accounts;
• access, scrape, copy or resell the Service or its output at scale, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
• interfere with the security or performance of the Service, or with other users;
• use the job-link import to fetch pages you aren't allowed to access.

Our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, billing, invoices and applicable sales taxes, and provides customer service for orders and returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. We never see or store your full card details.

• Free. 30 live copilot minutes once per person, 2 roles, 1 resume and 1 tailored resume. We may change what the free plan includes.
• Pro. A subscription billed $20 per month, or $216 per year, plus any applicable taxes. It includes 300 copilot minutes per month (unused minutes don't carry over), 15 new roles per month, 5 resumes and 3 tailored resumes per role. Yearly Pro is paid once a year and its minutes still arrive monthly.
• Minute packs. 100 copilot minutes for a one-time payment of $15 ($10 for Pro members), plus any applicable taxes. Pack minutes don't expire while your account exists, and they can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Automatic renewal. Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Minutes & billing in Prepr, or through Paddle's customer portal. If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan. You can also pause Pro for 1 to 3 months. While it's paused you aren't charged and no new monthly minutes are added.

Price changes. We may change prices. A change to your Pro price applies from your next billing period after we've given you reasonable notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Metering. Copilot minutes are counted on our servers while the copilot is listening, and time while paused isn't counted. If you run out mid-call, you get up to 15 grace minutes to finish (every time on Pro, once per account on the free plan). An answer that is already being written always finishes.

The Service, including its software, design, text, logos and the Prepr name, belongs to Simon Musmos, operating as Prepr or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own job search while your account is in good standing. They don't give you any other rights in it.

The Service relies on third parties, including AI, hosting, database and payment providers, and on the video-call or browser software you use. We aren't responsible for third-party services. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms. Job postings you import come from third-party websites, and we don't check their accuracy.

We work to keep Prepr available and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every browser, device or call app. Some features, such as floating subtitles and call audio capture, depend on your browser. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise any outcome, such as getting an interview, an offer or a particular salary. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded by agreement.

To the extent the law allows:

• we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, earnings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service;
• our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and (b) US$50.

These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, including reasonable legal costs, that result from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, including using the copilot without consent that the law requires. This doesn't apply to the extent a loss was caused by us.

You can stop using Prepr at any time. To delete your account and data, email simonmusmos@gmail.com from your account's email address. We'll delete it within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. Cancel any Pro subscription first so it doesn't renew.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other people. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without you being at fault, we'll refund any unused prepaid amounts. The sections on your content, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at simonmusmos@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections and rights to bring proceedings that the law of your country of residence gives you and that can't be waived.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Prepr after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using Prepr and cancel any subscription. The date at the top shows when these Terms last changed.
